It seems surprising that the labour-dominated Council see it as a priority to decorate a townhall. They have done the bear minimum to consult local people - even the Council’s own environmental health department failed to respond to the consultation.
People throughout Islington urgently need help, having been dealt blow after blow from the fallout of COVID-19. In the planning report there is money allocated for such things as moving a desk and making a stairway look nicer.. surely there are better ways to utilise the Borough’s budget?
